I like turning one good design into a system the whole team can build on.
I'm a Sr. Product Designer based in California. I spent over five years at eBay designing the app and web tools sellers use to list, manage and ship what they sell. Before that, I ran my own design practice, where I built Neogov's first design system and designed iOS and Android apps for agency clients.
Next, I'm looking for a steady team where I can take on hard problems, help my teammates grow as much as our users, and build my program management skills, with room for a life outside work too.
It started with a drawing class.
Engineering classes weren’t clicking for me, so I signed up for drawing and ceramics. I fell for ceramics, but the grad students talked me out of it, so I turned to graphic design.
I was supposed to graduate in the spring but needed one more class. My favorite professor, tough but always looking out for me, told me to stay an extra semester. I wouldn’t be a product designer without that advice.
That extra semester, I met a professor who ran META+LAB, a CSUN program pairing designers with developers. I joined right away.
I came out of it as both a UX/UI designer and a front-end developer. Fittingly, the last class I needed to graduate was a coding class.
That mix of design and code still shapes how I work with engineers today.
What it’s like to work with me.
Before I open Figma, I want to understand who I’m designing for. Feedback, research and real data help me see what people actually need, and give me the confidence to speak up for them.
I love designing pieces other people can pick up and run with, like a component, a pattern or a kit, so good work keeps paying off long after launch.
Some of my best ideas come from talking with developers early. We work through the tricky edge cases together, and I make handoff files clear enough that questions are rare.
Accessibility isn’t a last-minute checklist for me. It’s part of the design from day one, and if something slips, I pull in the right people and get it fixed quickly.
Where I’ve been so far.
What I’m good at, and what I use.
Proud nerd, off the clock.
When I'm not designing, I'm cooking something new, reading, catching up on anime, or starting another craft project. Whenever I can, you'll find me at a convention.
